Hi
the little dogs belonged to my Gran. I was told they were old. I have tried googling them but not having much luck. There appears to be a makers mark underneath and they must have been hand painted due to tiny differences.
I am learning more about glass every day but I am just stuck with these.
Any ideas?

Try googling Staffordshire dogs... I specially like yours, because they look like puppies... I have a couple of them too... But mine are very common.

I read the info re your dogs. Mine do not have a pattern on the back and the crazing in underneath as well. I will try and search some more.

Who remember old story with related to these dogs.
When sailor is at sea these dogs are looking from window the sea in the distance.
While sailor is home dogs are looking inside home from window.
