    I was wondering if anyone knows what this is made of? It feels like some kind of rock. Any advice would be appreciated.

      Looks like Onyx to me. my mother had a simmilar ne -still must have it :)

      I think it's onyx... It's very beautiful... Onyx is typically see thru, so you can use a flash light and how awesome it looks. I am totally into Onyx and looking to install it as counter top for my bathroom...
