In the left is winter war 1939-1940 medal.
This war forced the Finnish Second World War. Battles took place on the eastern border of Finland for more than -40 celsius degree temperatures.
In the right is civil war medal from 1918. It was a time when a divided nation fought against each other in Russian and German support.
White Finland Germany as an ally, when the defeat of Germany in World War I, Finland achieved fully independence in 1917.
Medal is silver and desinged by Akseli Gallén-Kallela. Medal of freedom 1st class.
