Regency style... ? but from what year.... ?

This is the bedroom set I inherited from my Grandparents (they were married 70+ years!). They purchased it in New York City new; I think the time was between 1925 through the 1930's, which is a big range. I'm trying to identify the exact style and year, if that's possible. Cant find any markings on the bottom. Unfortunately, I had the surfaces refinished with lacquer and the gold embellishment was repainted, in case you're wondering. The hardware is original. There is also a gorgeous headboard, foot board, and lots of other pieces to the set.

Any ideas regarding style type and date? Thanks!
