I saw this at GW today and I really wanted it despite the price. It's quite a large piece at 17" tall. The minimal design adds a splash of color on both sides with just a minor variation. Looks like an elongated piece of fruit or a vegetable. It's not really heavy or light but feels right for it's size. You can see the layers of white, clear, and the colored glass design. The bottom is satin polished with a deep well in the middle. I'm not supposing it's anything special as it has no marks or labels, probably Chinese. I just think it's an interesting and imposing piece of art glass. -Mike-

Hall's not bad stuff Jay it's still sought after, but if it's not what you wanted I can see why your disappointed.
I think it's a cherry. Cheery cherry? I'm guessing new but quite cute. Sometimes you just gotta get it.
Thanks Amber..... I've been in tchotchke mode the last few days just buying pieces I like. No great treasures to be found so I at least come home with something interesting. Spring cleaning is coming up so it should yield some better donations to these places.
