I have inherited quite a lot of glassware, mostly, I believe vintage with some antique. I don't have a clue as to what was bought during my mother-in-laws lifetime or what she inherited herself.
Some items I am finding in my searches and others not...the above is an example of a set I can find nothing about online. I am an absolute novice/dunce when it comes to glassware and crystal, so any help much appreciated.
This is a set of 6 liquor/shot/cordial glasses in amber with silver rings at the top and the bottom half is frosted. Small bubbles can be seen in the glass when held to the light. They are very cute, but I can't imagine being easy to drink from as the rim is narrower than the base. Height is about 4cm or 2 in.
I'd guess 60/70s for port??? They are very cute. Not thinking super valuable but some good old vintage goodness. I certainly could be wrong but that is my two cents.
Thanks AmberRose. I would have thought them too small for port..but, then..as I said, I know very little about these things.
Consulted Hubby who bartender his way through college. He thinks hot drink due to handle. Perhaps expresso.
