    I found this at an auction and paid $125 for it. It looks like the artist signed it H R L and it is dated Dec 25th 1894. The size of the painting is 6 1/2" X 10" and the frame is 10 1/2" X 14". Any information you could give me on this would be great. Has anyone seen these initials on a painting before? Would it be in the category of Folk Art? Did I get a good deal?
