I have recently inherited this ring and can find nobody who can tell me anything about it. What is the symbol on the front? How old is it? Where would this have been made? I think the diamonds are rose cut - but that's really stretching my limited knowledge.
If anybody can give me any information I would be truly grateful.
Thanks so much.
If you look up a "Georgian blue enamel diamond ring", you'll see many examples, both antique and contemporary.
Thanks so much - I have researched this but do not have the experience to tell whether this is Georgian or Victorian. Also what is the symbol on the front? Any ideas?

Georgian as far as I can see rose cut diamonds. I have no idea about the symbol.
ringfan I found this little article about Georgian jewelry. Perhaps you want to read it: http://plattboutiquejewelry.com/jewelry-history/ So you can better detect the time period of your ring and re-cataloging to Georgian jewelry here on CW!
This article is even better, you can send in your questions!
