The first plate is about 9" and the canton view about 7".. I can't remember where I found these but know they cost pence! I just wondered if the 1830 date is correct!?

Meant to say the first plate has ROGERS stamped into it on the back
The second plate marked Elkin was made by Elkin, Knight & Bridgwood of Fenton ,Staffordshire between 1826-40. I’m guessing it was close to 1825-6, as your piece has the embossed stamp with the original stamp of the singular ELKIN , which was how the company began in 1822, so was a transitional piece.
Still working on the other!
Couldn’t find much more than you have already on the first plate. John & George Rogers, another Staffordshire pottery. Here’s a link with some info on the company.

So looks like the date of 1830 is correct. No embossed marks on that piece?

yes the Rogers plate has it embossed like the one in your link.. i will try to add a photo if i can..
i cant believe they've lasted nearly 200 years!
the canton views plate is a patten ive not found.. ive seen other views, i read there were about ten in the set but havent seen a picture of the whole set have you seen it anywhere?
