He looks authentic to me not a repro . Az jump in or anyone ?
This one appears correct , I'd agree with Mani
This one does look correct. Well enough that it may need a hands one to be sure. It could be a John Wright from the late 40's early 50's made in the original Hubley molds. If stored in an attic it would get that paint effect.
Search John Wright for how his were marked, I just can't remember.
Oh, and Welcome to CW!
I would be sure to measure it and get a weight. Also compare the nose. This one has been taken apart so someone knows if there is a mold number.
I have no idea about whether it has been taken apart...It weighs about 4 pounds (definitely not an accurate weight) and is 6" to its back and almost 9 to the tip of ears...again this is crude measurements.
I did not agree it was a Hubley . What I find on all the dogs is what I suspect and that many sat outside .
Your measurements are close but the weight is questionable. If you haven't done so yet, go to the link below and you will see examples and also a link where you can email the curator.

Honestly, it does look quite authentic. I've seen one of these in the past and it's hard to judge what is real from just pictures.
But one this I know for sure it that it's defiantly much better then a normal door stop like the ones you get at a place like Orange Shopping Deals.
