I have owned this pedal plane for about 25 years, but I am not certain of the year or the manufacturer. Someone said it might be an American National or Waco. Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated.
Very Nice! Someone did a great job restoring it.
This plane is in a 1930 ad as a "Spirit of St. Louis" along with an American National full body type pedal plane. Your choice for $10.98.
I have a 1935 National catalog that shows the full body but not the wood frame like yours.
Make take would be it's before 1935 and was made by American National.
that's a repop anybody can tell that's not a original look at the metal and fastners
Yes it could be, although I don't remember seeing this plane reproduced. The fasteners that I see look original, slotted with square nuts. Obviously being redone, the screws easily could have been replaced.
The Metal? Please explain how "anybody" can tell that is not an original.
If you are aware of a repo, please post a like so we can all learn.
Can't tell you a thing apart from just....love it!....:-)
