This gorgeous Murano bowl was another one of my finds. Again got it for $4. It is beautiful but if seems that the bottom came off and someone re-glued it. Thus the $4. Does it make it depreciate that much??? The bowl does mot have chips or cracks etc, but I did not wash it up before taking pictures and it looks like it has spots. No can tell but botom is seen when using a loupe. It measures 12" across and 6" high. Any other info is appreciate it.
Gorgeous bowl. The right person might still buy it for good money, particularly with the sticker on it. For $4 just keep on admiring it, put your fruit in it and don't worry about depreciation! Some of my most used and valued things would be rejected by most!
SO very pretty!!
Not true Murano made in Italy. Also newer made glass
antiquerose, this is from that fossil forum you referred me to:http://www.fossilfly.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=2278
I have been reading reading and researching researching. lol
Thanks again for the help!
No problem.
Seems the name Murano is used too widely these days. There are some glass with the Murano name in it (but not Murano at all) and only made *in the style of* and made in Venezuela.......and I have one of those pieces too.
All a learning process.....LOL....for me too
