We purchased this at an estate sale in the greater Hartford, CT area a few weeks ago for $20. There are no markings or tags giving us any indication of manufacturer or age. The upholstery is well worn, so this was a treasured piece. We are in the process of redoing the upholstery. If anyone has any age or history information, I'd love to know.

The chair design, is what you would expect to see in a Lolling chair. in this case a rocker.

I have the same chair. While I do not know the manufacturer, I can tell you that (in our family) it is called a nursing rocker because Mother can rest her arms as baby is fed. Lumbar curve on the back adds support.
I was bottle fed (in vogue then) in it in 1954, Philadelphia.
Mine is currently in need of reupholstering. How did yours turn out? Was it costly?
      Regards, Marie
