    (676 items)

a drop shaped stainless steel decanther or jug made by Arabia of Finland
unfortunately i don't know the designer or modelname of this beauty
i even don't know the period it was designed...

i would love to have other sized ones in the same shape if there are some
therefore it would be great if somebody knowns the designer or modelname

i like the idea of a drop shaped vessel to pour liquids
this one is in 1L size but i need a smaller one to foam up milk for my capuccino

it was designed in 1998 by Kati Tuominen-Niittylä.
this height of 25cm is the only size
it was also produced in white ceramic
      production discontinued in 2010

I've just found out the model is called PISARA (Finnish for Drop)

I like this designer, specially her GLUCK jugs for Iittala :) Her work is not the kind of stuff i usually like, but it's always fun.

damn i still need a nice 500-600ml sized one as a milk foam steaming jug
if somebody knows a stylish steel jug let me know...
and after i found one i will think about a kees van der westen spirit & a versalab grinder
