My mother in law had a friend who along with her husband owned a beer distribution company in Creston, Iowa. This lady gave my mother in law 3 bracelets - all different - but, all came to her through the beer company. The bracelet posted above includes the bear charm (above) (I hope you will be able to expand the picture to see the whole item) and a bear tie tac (the post is bent over a chain ring) of which are made of pewter. Both bears are the same except for the one being a pin. They are standing on a log that says HAMMS. The sign post says Royal St. and Conti St. There is a Hamms 100 years. It appears most of the enamel has come off. It also has a circle with praying hands and the serenity prayer on the back. These items are a silver, but not pure silver - do not tarnish. All 3 bracelets were given to my mother in law about 40 years ago. The lady who gave them died in 1983 (I think). She was in her 80's.
The bears, sign, praying hands are 1" tall, the Hamms 100 years is 1/2" in diameter. My mother in law is now 82 and not the best of health. We would like to know if these bracelets have any value to them.
The other two bracelets are brass. One has 5 different steins on it and a heart with the crown? (don't know what else to call it). Each charm has a blue gem mounted on it. On the back of each one is a symbol of some sort - maybe a trademark - and 10 k. The other has a barrel, 3 different hearts, another praying hands/serenity prayer, a circle with pearls around it and a basket in the middle with a green gem (It looks like there used to be another gem on the other side of the handle), and a circle with what looks like a block tower, the word MIZPAH " the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent one from the other." GEN. XXXI V5 '49. I have looked on E-bay, and the only thing I saw for jewelry was the Hamms bear tie tac. Again, we are trying to find out if any of these have any value to them. If anyone has information regarding these bracelets, or if you know where I can find out some information about them, I would appreciate your help. Thank you much!

The gold bracelet was earned through a recognition and sales program called "Hart's Desire" which Ralph Hart (president of Heublein Co.) began in...1967? The bracelet was for ladies, and men could earn rings, tie tac, money clip, etc that all featured the Hamm's crown logo, with the pine trees between the prongs of the crown. They were made by Jostens (the high school ring and graduation award company) I found the original paperwork detailing what a distributor could earn about 10 years ago, and work for the company. And...I'm a beer collector myself.
