The classic Marx Playset from the mid 60s, perhaps a bit earlier as it has Alamo defenders instead of the cavalry figures. Actually first issued 1959. The red Indians are reissue the orange colored originals are barely visable. I cheated a bit and added some pieces from my other Fort Apache play sets. IE 2 block houses and the wagon.
Carson loves play sets. I have to leave it up for a few days before doing the pictures.
Thank you very much valentine. And yes it is not easy to find a complete set but you can eventually find the pieces.
Thank you

Thank you nutsabotas6.
Oh yes, we got the very same Fort Apache when kids (Spanish version, of course, but I'd swear it's the very same design :)
Thank you very much austrohugaro. I would not be surprised if you did have that same fort. Various companies made products licensed by Marx in various countries.
Thank you RonM.
It could b so! :) I remeber the Spanish one was called Fuerte Comansi :) Comansi was te brand and i guess they started making indians and cowboys figurines :)

I just seen this exact set at a customers house I was working at today! They are selling the house and going to have an estate sale. It had been played with for sure. But still thought of you fortapache!
He looks like my cat Gus, RIP 1995.
