Hi everyone. I've been meaning to post this... this ring belonged to my grandmother. It was believed to be fake, both the diamonds and the gold. I believe that it is genuine, and that the 14KP stands for "plumb" not "plated". What does everyone here think?
Good night!
Looks fabulous.
KP is well documented, no?
the p does stand for plumb it is on a lot of antique jewelry
beautiful ring!
vetraio, vanskyock24, and agram thanks for the comments!

I can't tell you how many pieces of gold I've found for cheap because the seller thought the P stood for "plate." In the 70's and 80's when gold was high, there was a problem with lowballing karatage, so plumb was used, which was sort of like a guarantee. That's the story I always heard
I think what a lucky grandmother you had & to think you now have the pleasure of owning it.
It's beautiful, so happy its still in your family... how wonderful that is :)
Hi,
I know this is an old thread but I am looking to find who makes this hallmark. I have a ring with the same mark and cannot find any information anywhere. Any info would help, your ring is the first thing I've found after almost a year of searching.
Thank you,
Melissa
