Here I have the first piece I've purchased that literally made me jump and down when it arrived. This vase is STUNNING.
It was advertised on ebay as...
Unusual! Vintage Bohemian Porcelain Vase Hand Painted With Pink Roses.
    It measures approximately...
    6 1/8 inches Tall x 5 1/2 inches diameter.
Please, anyone who knows the name of this design and pattern, maker, year, etc... I would love to know more about this wonderful piece.

It's very pretty Aim... I'm wondering if it's Japanese, either Noritake or Nippon. The enamel beading the roses and the shape seem to point to that. The shape doesn't look quite European. It's a bit more Asian especially the top. -Mike-

Here's one with a similar top Aim. ...So many styles they are all unique.

My vase does not have any markings on it. Maybe a knockoff of a Nippon?

Your welcome Aim:) Since I have a few Nippon pieces I've learned a bit plus I have a great Nippon book. As for the marks don't worry too much. Some were never marked because this was basically mass production back in the day. A lot of marks were not under the glaze so they had a tendency to wear off or fade. The shape and design are what ID a lot of pieces.Your piece would probably date from 1891 to 1921 . The biggest producers were Morimura Bros. and Nippon Toki Kaisha. -Mike-

Hey Mike, do you think the Nippon vase in the link you posted is worth the price it's listed for?
