    Most likely the oldest one of these I have ever found. Only wish I could make out the makers stamp on the blade. All I can make out for sure is the initials NY indicating a New York origin. Maybe another out there with the same stamp impression form. Quite sure it is genuinely antique. Just has the look and feel of Early Americana.
