I think I am a magnet for unusual items. I can't pass them up, and then go mad trying identify them, although its a grand madness.

I immediately assumed this is Scandinavian, but have struck out at every turn. Does anyone recognize the style. I was thinking Riihimaki, but I have not found anything to confirm.

I forgot to add, the piece is 8" tall, and 4 1/2" across the widest part.

This is lovely but I am thinking Polish. Maybe Krosnos? Might be an oil burner thing...oil in the well with a wick...like a candle...

      Amber,
after much searching, I think you are correct, it is an Oil Burner, but it could be used as a bud vase too. But most likely an oil burner, thanks.
      Regards, Kirk
