I have this Ball Watch that belonged to my great grandfather, im trying to find out what year it is or model and other info on getting it repaired.

This appears to be a R/R grade "Ball" watch with Wind indicated dial, would have to see movement and serial # to date and verify, but all appearances lead to that. Very nice watch
How does it open as I am unsure?
The back and basil will should unscrew. Place in palm of hand face down, using thumb and index finger, twist back cover counter-clock direction, should turn easier after a few turns
the basil will unscrew also, to adjust the time, with a small stub under basil pulled outward and turn crown to adjust hands
