I really don't know very much about these two dolls. I found them about 8 years ago in a home we bought. The small one is about 4 inches and has mouth open, the other is about 4 3/4 any info I would gratefully appreciate. Thank you
These little all stone bisque doll were exported during years of the occupation 1945-1952. They were inexpensive dolls and used for doll houses and just cute little dolls a girl could carry easy , They have no real name and are just referred to as all bisque
occupied Japan dolls . There is no evidence of who made them ,what factory as there were many .
Here is a example close to yours

Thank you for your info. I will pass these down to my granddaughter as she already loves them
It is nice to keep them in family . Sorry they have no real name but maybe I helped a bit . Perhaps she will want to sew them some clothes or make a diaper for the baby one ,the girl could wear a homemade dress and be precious .
