Can anyone give me any information about this teacup and saucer set? I purchased this in an antique store for my girlfriends birthday and it has sparked an interest with me. I'd like to find out who made this and about when it was made. No need for an appraisal, just wanting a little info.

May be Japanese, possibly Dai Nippon (Great Japan) If you look at gotheborg.com you might find the maker

Definately Japanese... gotheborg has no similar markings. This item doesn't appear to be something that was mass produced.

I have a teacup and saucer with this exact same mark. Were you ever able to find out anything about it. I have been looking all over the internet and have not found anything at all!

There are a few Asian experts on here, they may take a look and drop a comment on this thread. :)
