ThriftHoun…
(1 item)
I found this table lamp in a thrift store for $45 and I'm hoping to find out anything I can about it.
It has no marks so I don't know where it was made or who made it. It's really heavy --25 pounds maybe?--and I suspect the base is made of iron. The shade is made of paper and the 'drum' skin feels like fiberglass or paper.
I'm pretty sure it's vintage but what era and what style is this? My guess is sometime between 1950s and early 1960s.
It measures 27" tall from feet to top of shade, not including the finial. The round base is 15" in diameter.
I've never seen anything like it
What do you think?
