This Kennedy tackle box probably is the reason I started seriously picking and collecting. I was at the Dania Marine Flea Market 2 years ago and I walked into this little both with a couple of tables. I noticed a few tackle boxes underneath the table, and as any guy knows, if it's a box, you have to look inside. When I opened it all a saw was a few metal stringers and a couple of strings. But I could see there was more down deep. I nonchalantly asked for a price. The lady called the man that owned it and he said he would take $25.00. When I got this thing home and started pulling stuff out I realized that it was an outfitted tackle box for someone's wife. It still had her fishing license and fishing table for that year. Most of the tackle was still in the original boxes and most had never been used. I love reliving the life of the items I find, and dreaming how they were used and when and where. I never tire of looking and looking. Just to find a little treasure like my Kennedy tackle box. Priceless.
