I purchased a group of old postcards as I enjoy researching and learning new things. There were several used and unused cards from Germany. This intrigues me as I have searched for hours for the particular crest on the front side (lower corner) with negative success. I would like to place this in my scrapbook of special finds and include as much history on it as possible. The printed portion on the back reads Nurnberg Schoner Brunnen und Frauenkirch am Adolf Hitler Blaz (?). Research explains the picture is that of a fountain. In researching, I found this fabulous site and thought I would share this find.

Schöner Brunnen und Frauenkirche am Adolf Hitler Plaz = The Fountain and Church of Our Lady, Adolf Hitler Plaza (or Square) - The crest is the State Crest of Nurnburg.

The stamp is a commemorative stamp issued on Aug. 30, 1935 for the Nazi Congress at Nuremburg. - The postmark cancellation is a special cancel for the 7th Nazi Party Congress which was held Sept. 10-16, 1935. Although the year part of the date has been cut off on the postmark, the message is clearly dated as 9-13-1935 which means the writer must have been attending the Congress, I cannot decipher the handwritten message but I'm sure it is very interesting.
