I have no idea what this is, but i picked it up for a buck at the flea market. The first thing that i thought of was some kind of egg poacher, but if so, it's for quail eggs, because it's not big enough for chicken eggs. any ideas what this could be? It says 'Hall' and 'Made in USA' and '1154' underneath it.
Escargot dish (snails)
for real aghcollect?
I agree with aghcollect.
I have no idea what it is called but I was once served lobster in this. Each hole had an individual bite of lobster soaking in butter topped with parmesan cheese.
yum! is all I have to say about that.
i looked it up and yes, it is made for escargot! must be the least-used cook ware ever invented.
Not here in france it isn't! Although they taste like chewy bits of rubber to me.
