This is truly a beautiful piece. Though not Czech, my attraction to this piece proves to me that I love glass for its form, color, and not for name alone. Having a history attached to a piece does add to the beauty of collecting, but it is not the sole reason I may want a particular piece; color is where it's at for me. Too excited to wait until I get this vase in my hands, I am using borrowed photos to show off this non Czech piece to my collection of art glass. With much hope, this vase will be confirmed as a piece truly designed by Ercole Barovier, who is the son of a glass furnace owner out of Murano, Italy during the 1930's. You can be sure that I will be looking further into his collection of designs, along with the history of the Barovier&Toso company. In the meantime, check out the top view of this piece...WOW!!! That's HOT!!!

I love the colors! And shape! great add!
Thanks for your comments, I'm pleased too, however, It is a heavy piece typical of Murano in weight and thickness, not what I normally collect. It does show nicely from top view though. Thanks all for the comments.
