Here I have some vintage dishes and a cute red and white gingham tablecloth I won for $1.25.
I planned to top this with a smaller Rooster Farm Yard Print tablecloth. Unfortunately I was outbid on. But I have my eye on some material, I may try my hand at making my own topper.

Awww thanks so much AR. The two things I've loved forever... The color purple and Roosters. I'm terrible at sewing but I'm thinking about buying a yard of fabric to play with. LoL

Hey! The fried chickens gone?? *¡*, have you been in the fridge again?
    7. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
LmBoOoOo!! Some friends won't wait long enough for it to make it to the table. They serve themselves directly from the fridge. Hang on I'll add pics of dinner.... then delete ;)

That's my grandmother's meat loaf with my added touches ;) on my other grandmother's vintage platter. Doc bought dishes very similar to it.

LoL. I'm hopeful I'll finally get the fudge made tomorrow. The glaze for the candied carrots in the photo above starts out very similar to caramel and fudge.

I love to see someone actually using a devilled eggs plate....and you've made me hungry now!
    16. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
Tehehe and I love making people hungry LoL
Thanks again for the love and humorous words.
PS I have a handful of vintage deviled egg plates.

See! Now you have corrected my spelling! I agonised over that devilled/deviled but didn't want you to think your eggs might have been de-viled!
    18. Aimathena Aimathena, 11 years ago
I didn't even notice the spelling. Besides I'm the Swypo queen! LoL

:D thank you for taking time to stop by and leave such kind words nuts.

Racer, I use those styrofoam egg cartons when transporting deviled eggs to parties. I cut the eggs in half horizontally, you end up with a top and bottom. vs cutting vertically where you get two sides. it takes two egg cartons per dozen. Works great, toppings don't get smashed into the filling like it tends to with plastic wrap over the egg plates.
