My son bought a house built in the 1800's, and after going through the contents found these items up in the attic. The gentleman who lived here was 92 yrs. old a few years ago when the family decided to put the house up for sale. He also found an old wooden clothes brush with horse hair bristles that reads across the top "smoke" LE VEE 10 cent cigar, William Schwartz Co. Hazleton, PA.
The aviator cap is all wrinkled, but intact. The metal toy gun does not make any sound when the trigger is squeezed. I think there is a part missing inside for this. The glasses have the blue sunglass piece attached to the rim and you just flip it up when you don't need the sunglasses. The post card shown is postmarked from Cairo and Egypt, and inside the stamp is "11.v.61" and other writing in Egyptian I believe that I don't know what it says.
Another post card found was from the "petrified forest and Painted Desert" which has a two-sided, 9 page flip down row of more pictures inside. This post card was never sent through the mail and has no markings on it at all.
I'm not sure what any of these items are worth, but my son would like to know if they are of any value.
Thank you.
