    World War ll Jacket 84th B-Squadron. Thats all I really know about the jacket........All the jackets Ive looked at has the extended bottom belt. This does not have one.....Buttons are Scoville Waterbury. There are 4 different patches. One I believe is the "Ruptured Duck".....The others I have no idea

    Any help is appreciated in learning about this jacket.

      WWII yes, correct about the ruptured duck. "Ike Jacket" no. Those stopped at the belt line. The bars on the right sleeve indicate overseas service - I believe this sergeant spent 2 1/2 years

      The patch is for the 12th Air Force. Here's a wiki article about the 12th, and if you scroll down to WWII, you can read about where this soldier may have been.:
