I am trying to get more information on this pocket watch. We know it is an Ingersoll 17 jewel pocket watch and it has a 37.5 hour run time.

I have a question, Are you sure 17 jewels not 7 ? If you open the back and share a photo of movement and serial number that's stamped on the movement itself, I or someone here on site can give you an approx. date of manufacture.

I don't have access to my books right now, but I think Ingersoll LTD, Great Britain had a 17 jewel, 3-finger bridge movement. Like Kerry said, a photo of the movement can help answer your questions.
