Antique Solid Gold Ring

This is my great grandmothers solid gold ring. I've spent all night trying to decipher what is (engraved/stamped?) on the inside and also cannot figure out what the design pattern is supposed to be on the outside. It is an extremely soft gold. Is there anyway to date something like this? Id love to know more and imagine how my great grandmother came into posession of this ring. Thank you!
