Just acquired some of this LIMOGES China.
2 stamps on the back. One is (black) LIMOGES FRANCE
and the other is (green), LIMOGES France China
LA COCHE T.V. I'm trying to find out the pattern
name and year. Any help or info would be greatly
appreciated.
Congrats, they're very lovey. Have you looked on http://www.replacements.com
T&V stands for Tresseman, & Vogt , who were in business in 1880-1919
I just did and found the pattern to TRV79. Thank you!!!
La Cloche may be the pattern name, but I thought that translated to a dome shaped covering for garden plants?
I've seen another pattern with that name which also means"bell"! So must be just part of their trade mark.
That's great! Very happy for you :)
Mary you were correct about T&V....

Thanks maryh1956 and Aimathena!!!
I think when replacements can’t find the name of a pattern, they just assign a reference number such as this. It may not necessarily correspond to anything in the manufacturers records. You could also check chinafinders, the UK equivalent to replacements
sorry, it’s china search, I think
