    I know its very old got old English writing on it cant make it out .its got a good frame and door ,silver and brass i think .no makers mark.

      It wonderful! I have one as well that I know is old but I don't know any more. Where these used for snuff really? Where were these normaly made and at what period in time? Do you know?
