      My son is currently enamoured with vintage GI Joe and spends a whole lot of time on youtube of all places watching people's videos on them.
      Might be a place to start. Type in something like: vintage toys gi joe

      The other place is good old ebay - traders of these often know stuff too!

      How did I miss this? The green guy is Stony Smith which was made by Marx in the mid 60s. The green solid colored accessories are his too. The green ammo box and silver knight is GI Joe along with the deep sea diver pieces. The guy in the parachute is Captain Action he is the most valuable item here. Made by Ideal around 66/67.
