Just curious if anyone knew anything about this old sign. My grandfather got it from a buddy a while back. My grandfather owned an automotive and tractor repair shop. Never knew what it was. Any help?

It's made out of pressed board.

Thanks so much Dizzydave! Do you have any idea what these things sell for? Or know of anyone that would be interested?

There are a lot of Fishing Collectabels, proberly someone from the Great Lakes area would love this. You would have to give it a whirl on a online auction. Basically comes down to how bad someone wants it. Dave

Those whirlaway reels are cool, the reel is in a ball at the bottom of the rod under the handle. I have one in the basement. I also have a friend that collects them and has several.

Just looked on ebay, Whirlaway was also a racehorse around 1940 and a floor/flat surface pressure washer.
