Mr. Coffee Coffeemaker

This is a circa late 1990's Mr. Coffee 4-cup Coffeemaker. The machine is a model# P180SX made in China by Sunbeam Products, Inc., and the glass coffee retainer was made in the Czech Republic. -- The first Mr. Coffee brand drip coffee maker was made available for home use in 1972 through a company called NAS (North American Systems). In 1973, former baseball player Joe DiMaggio became an advertising spokesman for the brand and they sold more than one million units by April 1974. - In 1994, the brand was acquired by Health O Meter Products, Inc. (later known as Signature Brands USA). - In 1998, Sunbeam Corporation (later known as American Household, Inc.) purchased Signature Brands (Health O Meter and Mr. Coffee). - The Mr. Coffee brand is now owned and produced by Jarden Consumer Solutions, who acquired American Household in 2005.
