    I'm not sure but would like to know if anyone have an idea if this plate is antique Chinese or Japanese plate,I have a set,they are very heavy,no marks,I bought this set from a storage auction about 12 years ago.

      Why do you think they’re Asian in origin?
      I believe there are areas in Northern Japan with red clay, but they could be Southern Italian or Portuguese , made with red Mediterranean clay

      Yes I think they are Asian but not sure,I have a set of plates,bowls,saucers,wish someone knew who made this set
