Here I have a beautiful cream and sugar set in a rose chintz patter called "Avondale" from Syracuse China Company's vintage Old Ivory collection. Made in theearly to mid century America,he vivid chintz design is perfectly hand painted on ivory and the piece is beautifully accented with gold scroll work. The pattern repeats on the inside edge of the pitcher and on the handles of both pieces, features found only in the finest of china.
The covered sugar bowl measures...
3.75" inches tall
4.5" inches in diameter
The matching creamer measures
3.25" inches tall
3.5" inches diameter
I've slowly been building up a nice collection of this fine China. I will update the photos once all the pieces arrive.

$53 for how many pieces, that’s crazy!. Don’t they do combined shipping discounts?. If you haven paid asked them to break it down into smaller boxes or give you a cheaper option
Hi Mary, 16 auctions, but a lot of small pieces like saucers, sauce bowls, plates. $53 was with their combined shipping discount. They were split into three shipments. They would have all fit in one large box via UPS for $22 this is the second seller that has charged me over $50 for shipping, but that was only 4 or 5 items. He combined by putting everything into one box, but refused any shipping discounts. Said it was his way off making retirement funds.
If it was an eBay auction and the shipping costs wasn’t any less than buying them separately, then you can contact eBay. And for him to admit he’s overcharging on shipping to save for retirement is ridiculous.
Hi Mary,
Happy St. Patrick's Day :)
I didn't think there was anything that could be done, as long as they don't charge more than the shipping charges were per auction.
Isn't combined shipping up to the seller?
I was shocked at the man's behaviour, our correspondence is below.
Dear lkenny813,
Hi, I received your invoice, none of the items were combined. Will you please be kind enough to combine the shipping so I won't have to pay $55 in shipping fees? Truly appreciate it.
Warmest Regards,
Aim
Dear Aim,
This is the price I have to wrap everything individually and the items were listed for that price. Please pay and I will ship it as soon as possible

Dear lkenny813,
Ikenny813, I received your package today. I was very surprised to see everything in one box for only $16.45 which was clearly printed on the label, considering I was charged a total of $55 for individual shipping.
I have never left negative feedback, but unless you chose to correct this extreme overcharge of shipping, I feel I have no other choice but to warn other buyers of this. Good day to you.
Warmest Regards,
Aim
Dear Aim,
You bid and knew all the shipping which is part of the reason they were sold so cheap. Please enjoy your pieces that you got a great deal on.
Shipping $55
minus 15% in eBay fees equals 46.75, minus 10 for packaging and box 36.75,
minus 17 dollars shipping I am at $20,
then minus my time wrapping and driving to the post office I made nothing on shipping.
Leave feedback if you must. This is what I do for my retirement income.
Thank you

Contact ebay via the resolution center. If he only paid that amount for shipping all the pieces you have a right to the refund. He cannot charge that much in handling fees. Hopefully all your conversation was done through the Message center, which ebay can read if necessary. Don’t leave Feedback until this is resolved.
Tell him you want at least a $20 refund or you will take it to eBay.
Hi Mary, thank you, but I'm pretty sure it's too late to go thru ebay resolution center. It happened over ebay 45 days policy. I had no idea that I even could until now. I thought ebay lets sellers set their own shipping charges.
