The design of this stamp commemorated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming, the first of the nation's national monuments. The national monument site is a 1,200-acre area. Devils Tower, a natural rock formation, is a 600-foot wall of volcanic origin. Central design of Devils Tower itself is taken from a photograph.

Hi govin.gn, I purchased a cigar box last week for $10 that nobody could figure out how to open. After I got into my truck I turned the latch on the cigar box and this set of stamps was among several hundred others, that I'm gradually posting to avoid overloading you all with stamps. As for the price of this, I don't really look into that sort of stuff. I just appreciate having it. Many thanks! =)
