Vintage Chanel costume jewelry is very desirable, rare, and valuable. There's a lot on 1stDibs, which says a lot. I looked around on Google and the only similar floral brooch pieces I could find was this modern stuff that's made out of what looks like ripped up old fabric, and its selling for 3-$500?? Anyone ever seen a glass piece like this before? Its marked "98 / A" which apparently means it was made in the fall of 1998.
I can't find any other pieces of this "line" on Google though, still searching. I can't believe this ripped up old ugly fabric stuff one sold for $400...
Jewelry is an odd field for a guy to specialize in, but I love it because its small, valuable, and always holds its value. Plus I know a heck of a lot about it : )
The value is in it's beauty and the name adds more.

Have you tried using Gripoix as a keyword for this camellia brooch? Petals without bezel are less common but a couple will come up.
