    I bought this at the auction with some speakers and a reciever. All together it was a great deal. Me and my dad plugged it in but we could not figure how to test if it worked. If somebody knows how to do this it would help. Thank you for your time. Awesome buy!

      Love the 70s hi fi equipment. It connects to the reciver via the phono jack. Does it have a cartridge and stylus (needle)? Set it on manual and the turntable should spin.

      if the auto function isn't working it can be due to the old grease has dried to a gluelike consistency, which will need to be cleaned and reapplied.
