I purchased this trunk recently from an online garage sale. I haven't verified the measurements, the height is approx. 24". It has a Corbin lock, no key. The woman I purchased it from told me it had been passed through the family of an ex-friend. It was originally blue, yet, she painted it a faux leather. I don't know anything else about it, or trunks for that matter. If any one has any input, I would love to hear it! Thank you so much!

tiff888 you have a nice old trunk circa 1910-30's covered in vulcanized fiber. A tough utilitarian storage trunk with some nice hardware on it. Many of this type were manufactured at the time without maker's labels. It is in great shape and has a good look to it. Thanks for the post and welcome to collector's weekly!!!!
