Hi All - Here is a ukulele that I recall from the 60s. It was my dad's and I have no idea where he got it from or how long he had it before I came along. There are no labels inside and it appears that there was a metal plate at the top but that's long gone. Would love to know more about this type of instrument. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance. Mimi

That is a beautiful instrument, just from the little I know about them. It is possible that it is very valuable, as well. I had an old KK uke floating around here for years, that my 3 year old granddaughter used to bat rubber balls with. I found a group "Ukelele Underground" and joined, asking them to identify it. They did and I sold it for $300 and it was NOTHING like what you have. Google them. They are the most helpful group of people I have met online and it is ALL about Ukeleles. Good luck.

Thank you, Mark! Will check out UU. (btw - Brooks was my dream school -but I was on the wrong coast at the time.)
