Seen one just like this posted by nutsabota6 yesterday. Had to go search for this one in the closet. Very similar. No maker marks anywhere.
Just edited with a bottom view and a shot in front of some sleeping Shamrock. ; )
One of the important ways glass and ceramics are identified is by the base, even if nothing is written on it. Would you be able to upload a photo of the base? Then the knowledgeable ones might be able to id it.
Does look like it's come from the same factory as nuts green one!
Lovely BIG bit of glass!
Thanks racer4four.
Sorry Kanukster I am now not sure on this one.
The base doesn't look like it's Sklo even with that indent.
Possibly Polish, German?
Identified as Fostoria's Celestial pattern. From around the 1960-70s. Have one too -- I believe that is what it was ID as.
Thank you antiquerose.
I'm continually impressed by the level of knowledge in which our friends possess.
