I had the day off from work today so went to an antique shop that I have not been to for several years. It was worth going to, because I was able to add this to my collection. I ended paying 50% book price and now have 3 different diamond cans in my collection. This one is my only one made in the US the other two are Canadian. Very hard to find these cans still sealed I was very surprised to see this one was still sealed. My can is the 3rd version of the multi-diamond cans, Dave had recently posted the 2nd version. I find it odd the 3rd version is worth double what the 2nd version is worth, according to Petretti's 12th edition pg 363.

Nice one Trevor. Value in good part is based on rarity, so I'm guessing version 3 was used in production for a lesser period than version 1 and 2. I think you got an outstanding deal. Based on the many CCCan eBay auctions I've seen, these multi-diamond cans are undervalued in Petretti's 12th Edition, which was published 2008.

Thanks Dave! I got this at one of those large antiques stores with bunch of different boths. The owner was not there so had to pay 35$ plus tax at the front desk. My family thinks I'm crazy for spending soo much on an empty coke can, but I think its worth it and Im glad you agree.

I flip a piece every once in awhile for a large profit, which negates any question of my sanity. Very effective. Of course, I am indeed crazy... Coca-Cola Crazy!

Lol Dave, a Coca-Cola yard sale is coming up soon in Brampton, I might set up a table there for the first time.
