Hi, this is one I do not know about? It is about 5 inches wide, and about 2.5 inches tall. Amber colored glass. Has a bunch of Bubble clusters in it. Bottom Does show good wear. Top does has a polished rim. There does also seem to be some *ash* in it -- which I take is from older blown glass, and not a fault. Any ideas on this one??? Could it be Czech or what??

    Thanks as always.

    :)

I think it is by Schott Zwiesel
    2. ozmarty ozmarty, 11 years ago
      possibly designed by Heinrich Löffelhardt

      Agreed.
      Cool vase!

The thing about Löffelhardt's bubbled designs for Schott is that the bubbles tend to be on the walls more than at the bottom... I see it Czech or Swedish (reminds me of some work by the Whärffs although I am sure it's not by them). In any ase, a very beautiful bowl!

reminds me of an Italian piece Ive had for ages ( packed away some place ).
      same inclusions in the Bubbles.

** Special Thanks to ozmarty, racer4four, and austrohungaro on your comments. I looked around for some Schott Zwiesel things. I found things in Blue color -- but not Amber. I do not know much about him, as I have never heard the name before. Have you seen Amber color done by them? Thanks for any other info, as always Greatly appreciated!!

      :hugs:

      Note:
It has been suggested to me also that this may be HESSENGLAS BOWL ( late 1960s). See link below of Something in the same color line, and Bubble cluster type ??

Let me know Your thoughts on this. Thanks as always!!

Rose that vase looks similar with the bubbles and use of metal oxide. Your bowl could be from HG but I wouldn't say it's a definite.
Hopefully someone else more knowing can confirm for you!
      Whatever it's pretty cool!
