1950's - W.W. Cross Carpet Tacks

This is a circa 1950's box of Cross Sterilized Carpet Tacks made by the W.W. Cross & Company, Inc. East Jaffrey, New Hampshire. It is a full box (1/8 net lb.) of #4 (7-16 size) sterilized metal tacks used for both carpeting and also mid-century upholstery products. - W.W. Cross & Company made these tacks from 1932 until about 1993 in Jaffrey, NH and continue to make speciality electrical fasteners (staples, conduit straps, etc.) under the Viking brand name in their new factory in Canton, Ohio.
