Ok, I'm confused. How did you find out on here? There are no comments stating what it is.

That said, Thanks! I posted a similar lamp with the same scene a few days ago and didn't get that info.

Montgomery Wards sold this design lamp around 1956 or later and it also came in blue and I think a pinkish rose color.

I also! can't find my lamp set my late mother has had since the late 50's. The set was a gift from her elderly landlord. These lamps, along with seemingly a hundred other lamps she had stuffed into large home, meant the world to her.

But I also can't find our exact print, shape, and discovered the cord was cloth covered! My pic posted yesterday - it's the sideways one! (We are working w/ mobile phones only as there's no WiFi in my late parents home).

It's truly challenging going through their things and feeling terrible about attempting to think about selling a single loved treasure my mother collected; but my sisters and my house will not hold the amount of items - neither to display or store as we are full.

Hopefully someone will post one day with explanations as to why there seems to be several people with unique styles and prints of these lamps. Our lamps depict 2 men and a woman. One man does resemble George. I read Wiki and found lots of info on the history, but I'd like to know more - such as how to tell what year the specific lamps were made as well as how many of the each print, shape, etc. were produced.

We are rookies attempting to settle our late parents estate, so far all we have learned is getting quick info on ANY vintage item is like pulling teeth! It takes a lot of patience and time. I'm beginning to think hiring an expert to walk the home would be the best route for us.
Thanks for your posts and I'll check back for new comments.

      Welcome Matn011id,

This is a great place to get help, if you have the time. Search here for Martha and George lamp, I posted one and I know there are others.

I have seen many of these and they all seem to be a little different. They don't seem to sell well and usually in the $30.00 range with shade, at least here in Arizona. There are several at the local antique mall.
